I decided that now is a good time to get my blog up and running again as my creative outlet for sharing things about our family and the things that we love. So I started with this, documenting our day on Thursday, July 11th, 2019.
Before we get into our day, I’m seriously so shocked that summer is more than half over and that our first family cruise is coming up in less than two weeks! I’m even more shocked and somewhat in denial that I will soon have a middle-schooler and a preschooler. Don’t get me wrong, I am looking forward to being able to get more done during the day but still, I was secretly hoping they’d stay little forever.
After a little bit of time at home, we started the day at the dentist. I totally mixed up the appointment time and we showed up an hour early for our appointment thinking that we were late. Blessed that I could set up shop for a bit and get some work done and the kids got to play a little and had some phone time (nope, the first born does not have his own phone yet).
After the dentist, we headed to the bank and then over to Target. We managed to escape Target without too much deviation from our shopping list. So in part a win and in part a fail due to the fact that the only reason was that I promised them a treat from McDonald’s since we missed our normal lunch time.
Last stop of the day was to Kaiser. We needed to drop of paperwork so that this little big girl can get registered for preschool. Little Miss was extremely excited about this and even reminded me to not forget to stop here so that we can get her paperwork in as she is excited to see the new friends she made during her campus tour.
The rest of the day was spent finishing up some work, playing some games and hanging out with daddy and Uncle Jon. All in all it was a fun day for all!
